Project selection-Magazine

I feel as if feature writing in journalism interests me. It provides interpretation of trends, events, topics or people. The designing aspect of making a magazine really interests me because you can design it the way you would like to. I also think that taking the pictures for the magazine would be easier than having to film shots until you get the perfect one. The shots could be more random, but in the movie everything has to come together and make sense. Also, when doing a magazine you can chose what you may want to talk about and what interests you. You have a whole page to write about the topic that you may like, including the pictures. When doing a movie, you have to have people with you to act out a scene and get all of the right angles. I also like how when doing the magazine you could have different topics that somewhat relate to each other. Writing seems to be easier than making a film, when writing you can express how you feel with the words you write. But, when filming, you have to make sure your actors say their dialogue a certain way.
